5 things you need to know about wall decals
1. The finish of the paint on your walls matters
Since our vinyl is fully removable, the finish of your paint is very important. We highly recommend to not use our wall decals if your walls are painted with flat paint without testing a sample first.
We recommend the following paint finishes: Gloss, semi gloss, eggshell and satin.
2. Wall Texture
We highly suggest not applying the wall decals to heavily textured walls. Certain textures allow for air to get in between the wall and the decal which will cause the decal to release.
3. How long to wait to apply decals after painting
The paint on your wall needs time to cure. We recommend waiting 2-3 weeks to allow your wall paint to settle.
4. Moving wall decals to a new wall
Our vinyl is removable and repositionable. You can transfer it to a new wall by simply peeling it off the wall and adhering it to the backing it can on or wax paper. Simply roll them up and move them to their new wall.
5. Cleaning the wall decals
Simply take a soft damp washcloth and wipe them down lightly. I do not suggest scrubbing them or soaking them in water.
